Duties: Shares expertise and recommends improvements to model risk management processes. Analyzes and validates complex processes and manages projects with supervision from the Head of Model Risk Management. Analyzes and manages large amounts of data, including model metadata, data governance, and data lineage. Extracts data from complex tools, interprets data, and provides synthesized reports for diverse stakeholders. Analyzes regulatory requirements and recommends implementation strategies. Develops key risk management programs. Plans and prioritizes initiatives, including creating overall project plans. Identifies and resolves dependencies and provides guidance and support to working teams. Manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within established time, cost, and quality parameters. Monitors and reports on project progress to ensure adherence to goals, schedules, and budget. Assists with the identification of project-specific business and technical stakeholders. Coordinates across diverse teams, including making connections and supporting regular communication and collaboration to ensure resolution of concerns. Ensures that projects comply with relevant standards and methodologies.


Education & Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of relevant project management experience in banking, insurance and consulting.


Required Special Skills:

Experience must include 1 year in each of the following:

(1) Performing transaction monitoring model validation, including data completeness and integrity, conceptual soundness, policies and procedures, model governance, system controls, and functional testing; 
(2) Replicating transaction monitoring rules in a SQL test environment to identify patterns, uncover anomalies, and filter for targeted information;
(3) Performing data quality testing to assess the validity and completeness of reference and transformation tables; and,
(4) Integrating data leveraging the following programming languages and systems: Python, R, SQL, SAS, and Tableau.
