Job Requisition ID: 94022
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
Job Title: Senior Associate, Experience & Digital Marketing Business Planning, Brand Program Planning and Production (PF4)
When you join New York Life, you are joining a company that values career development, collaboration, innovation, and inclusiveness. You will have the opportunity to grow your career while developing personally and professionally through various resources and programs. New York Life is a relationship-based company and appreciates how both virtual and in-person interactions support our culture.
This role is part of the Business Planning team, in the Experience & Digital Marketing organization (E&DM). Business Planning supports E&DM and enterprise partners through (1) management of E&DM’s integrated business plan, roadmap, and portfolio of work, (2) mobilization and delivery management of large-scale, cross-functional programs and projects that support E&DM’s strategic goals, and (3) the empowerment of E&DM employees to organically grow, connect, and collaborate to achieve business outcomes.
You would be responsible for supporting the Brand Program Business Planning Lead in the mobilization, production, and delivery management of large-scale brand and experience marketing programs by defining and facilitating the planning, sequencing, production, and delivery of integrated campaigns.
What great looks like in this role:
You are a motivated, adaptable, and extremely detail-oriented candidate who can support large-scale brand and experience marketing production efforts — from campaign planning and creative development through to production shoot coordination, post-production, final asset delivery, launch readiness, and reporting. You understand how creative campaigns and films come to life, including preproduction, production shoots, post-production, talent coordination, contractual dependencies, budget tracking, rights and usage considerations, deliverable management, and cross-channel activation.
You are eager to engage with and listen to employees and partners of all levels, bringing passion, production discipline, strategic planning detail, and thoughtfulness to every interaction. You are a strong team player who takes direction well, follows through reliably, and knows how to support senior program leads, creative partners, and cross-functional stakeholders with clarity, flexibility, and good judgment.
You have strong written and verbal communications and are comfortable creating and managing detailed project and production plans, facilitating cross-functional teams of stakeholders, synthesizing outputs, and asking the right questions to uncover dependencies, risks, and production needs. You are a critical thinker with the ability to manage multiple details across fast-moving workstreams. You are highly organized, and able to bring structure, calm, and momentum when timelines shift, talent availability changes, edits evolve, budgets move, or stakeholders need fast alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of brand and experience marketing programs, helping ensure creative campaigns, films, and campaign assets are planned, sequenced, produced, reviewed, approved, and delivered on time and on budget.
- Support the development and management of production planning and details across internal teams, creative agencies, production agencies, media teams, legal, procurement, finance, business affairs, and external vendors, helping ensure production requirements, timelines, dependencies, approvals, and resource needs are fully understood and actively managed.
- Partner with creative, brand, media, web, social, communications, and experiential teams to help ensure campaign outputs are connected across channels and delivered in accordance with approved creative strategy, campaign objectives, brand standards, specifications, and launch plans.
- Support cross-functional planning, governance, and decision-making across stakeholders, helping drive alignment on priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, budget impacts, and production tradeoffs through planning sessions, status meetings, and written updates.
- Maintain production and program management artifacts, including integrated program and production timelines, milestone roadmaps, status trackers, capacity and dependency views, deliverable lists, review and approval plans, budget and contracting inputs, and planning assumptions.
Skills & Competencies:
- Production and project management experience within marketing, creative, brand, and/or experience activations, with a strong understanding of how marketing strategies, campaigns, and activations are planned, produced, and delivered.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills (including internal employees and third-party partner resources). Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter and problem solver, with the ability to manage multiple efforts and balance work strategically. You have no problem working in the gray.
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize work in a deadline driven environment. Detail-oriented is an absolute must.
Experience:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Candidate must bring proven knowledge of creative and content production, including production operations, rights and usage management, talent and asset licensing, vendor management, budgeting, delivery planning and management.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront would be a great value-add. The team also heavily uses AI, and the candidate must either be “all-in” on learning and scaling (training is provided by the company) – or, proven experience using AI is an incredibly strong value-add.
