Senior Associate, Marketing Manager
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week

Role Overview:
The Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the message development and positioning of New York Life’s Disability Income Solutions; supporting the creation of content, helping drive integrated go-to-market plans for these solutions; supporting the execution of new product launches, and collaborating with key stakeholders to tell the story of NYL solutions with strong packaging, messaging, and communications in a highly relevant way for our target market segments. This role will partner with the agent sales distribution and strategy teams to educate, inform, and encourage the adoption of marketing programs, initiatives, and tactics to enable sales growth and support agent productivity, as well as meet client needs. This position will report up through Corporate Marketing but will work closely with both product development and Agency sales/strategy teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for developing actionable sales ideas and innovative and effective marketing materials, seminars, tools, etc. to support the sales of Disability Income Solutions products.
- Supports the development of the Individual Disability Insurance (IDI) marketing plans and tactics through consultation and collaboration with Marketing leaders, Agency sales and strategy teams and product leaders.
- Will typically work in collaboration and consultation with the IDI product manager and cross-functional marketing teams to support and develop the product positioning strategy, go-to-market plans, and product launch execution.
- Assist marketing leaders in the development of product-related stories and messages in alignment with the brand messaging framework.
- Conduct ongoing review and assessment of existing product support materials to ensure effectiveness, timeliness, and appropriateness, with recommendations for improvement. This also includes monitoring and ensuring that materials are kept current for compliance purposes and are updated or revised to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborate across Corporate Marketing to ensure there is integration of marketing campaigns and resources to optimize market execution.
- Proactively identify, monitor, and analyze competitors' products, sales focuses, and marketing strategies in the disability insurance space to identify opportunities.

- Ability to develop, create and identify needed marketing collateral
- 3-5 years of product or financial solution marketing experience, preferably related to life insurance and disability products including individual and group disability, employee benefit market, LTC market, and insurance industry
- Relevant industry experience creating, developing, and implementing successful marketing plans that engage new prospects, accounts, and customers; leveraging a range of tactics and technologies; and supporting transactional and enterprise business
- Strong company knowledge; understands the inner workings of an organization, including its structure and politics; previous sales or sales enablement experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or related field
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $95,000-$130,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
