Senior Associate, Optimization Change Management

Role Overview:
The Third-Party Change Management and Optimization team takes a proactive approach in overseeing changes that impact the entire Third-Party service organization. Their focus is on modernizing the business, optimizing processes, and creating capacity for high-value work. They continuously seek opportunities to improve, reduce expenses, and elevate both the team's capabilities and the customer/advisor experience. Collaborating seamlessly with Product, Compliance, Legal, Contract Filings, Project Management, Technology, and Service, the team drives forward-looking solutions. The Senior Associate will focus on driving continuous improvement by ensuring the efficient operation of key platforms through updates, issue resolution, and optimizing user experience. The role will also involve owning and tracking relevant performance metrics to assess success and providing regular reports to management on outcomes and areas for enhancement.

What You'll Do:
• Oversee the implementation, customization, optimization, and testing of platforms for products, regulatory changes, and enhancements that relate to the Third-Party Distribution service organization
• Build a formal process whereby platform changes, whether it be on Salesforce or website, are entered, categorized, prioritized, and formally collaborated with stakeholders to understand requirements, business needs, and potential solutions
• Monitor and optimize team performances, identifying areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to streamline processes and increase efficiencies
• Maintain thorough documentation of enhancements, as well as generating reports and analytics to track usage of platforms
• Communicate with and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding product and regulatory changes that impact Salesforce and website
• Represent the team in meetings with other NYL Departments as required
• Keep up to date on best practices, industry trends, and new enhancements to drive efficiencies on platforms
• Work closely with the development and design teams to implement new features and updates as defined and executed for the website as well as Salesforce

What You'll Bring:
• 5+ years of annuity related experience is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Understanding of Third-Party distribution channel
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JIRA
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Prior experience with Salesforce, supporting various teams and stakeholders, including customization, reporting, and process automation to enhance business processes.
Experience in creating visually engaging and user-friendly website designs that align with client goals, ensuring seamless navigation, responsive layouts, and an overall exceptional user experience
• Ability to work as a team member
• Knowledge of annuity products, procedures, processes, and distribution 
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Initiative-taking individual who is skilled at troubleshooting and problem solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail are required
• Proven ability to multi-task and quickly assess and adjust priorities
• Proactive mindset and strong work ethic

 

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $90,000-$110,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
