Senior Associate, Paid Social Manager

Role Overview:
The Digital Marketing Acquisition team is responsible for lead generation and driving brand awareness across multiple product lines and recruiting initiatives at New York Life. As a part of the larger Corporate Marketing organization, the Paid Social Associate role sits within the Media and Channels team and will report to the CVP, Director of Digital Media.
As an Associate on our team, you’ll be responsible for the hands on, in-platform execution and planning of our paid social campaigns across multiple platforms for our consumer leads program as well as agent recruitment and talent acquisition campaigns.
The right candidate will manage the day-to-day execution of the campaign, identify, and set up tests to improve traffic to landing pages, and drive demand to connect with a New York Life financial professional. This individual will also report on performance and recommend optimizations to achieve the campaign's overall KPIs. This position will work collaboratively across the marketing organization, serving as a partner to stakeholders, and be self-motivated to deliver recommendations to stakeholders to surpass results against a set of strategic objectives.
The candidate will also have the opportunity to learn and assist with our other mid- and upper-funnel paid channels.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop and manage multiple paid social campaigns across different objectives; including account structure, campaign structure, audience targeting, creative trafficking and ad copywriting.
- Aid in developing compelling ad creative that resonates with our target audiences–including, video ads, static ads, etc., to drive demand.
- Possess a deep understanding of paid social media strategy and tactics.
- Actively manage the paid social budget to support awareness and consideration goals, including site traffic, quality metrics, and engagement.
- Actively manage audience targeting using platforms such as LiveRamp and Consumer.ai.
- Analyze results and deploy optimization techniques to ensure that campaigns deliver against KPI metrics.
- Embrace a test-and-learn approach, scaling new strategies and exploring expansion opportunities while continuing to drive demand.
- Consult and manage consistent tracking of events in Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Reddit.
- Actively participate in professional growth opportunities, skill development to stay on top of latest social and digital trends.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across varying levels of the organization.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a business or Marketing function and/or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience actively planning and executing Paid Social Campaigns in platform across Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Reddit
- Experience developing copy and creative for paid social ads and landing pages to perform A/B tests to increase the overall site visits and engagement on NYL.com
- Possess effective communication skills
- Fundamental understanding of online campaign measurement and methodologies
- High-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Experience in Display (DV360, YouTube, The Trade Desk, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in Content Partnerships is a plus
- Experience in Influencer Marketing is a plus

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
