Senior Associate, Sponsored Marketing Agreement Analyst

Role Overview:
This individual will assist in developing, directing, implementing, and maintaining a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals for the Sponsored Marketing Programs. You will help build, enhance, and direct the relationships with SMA providers contracted with New York Life.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage the existing life and group medical insurance sponsored marketing agreement which includes development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
• Respond to daily inquiries received via phone or email in reference to the sponsored programs.
• Provide support to our partners and NYL field force, financial tracking and reporting.
• Be the first line liaison between the agent force and SMA partners.
• Ensure that agents' submissions meet the criteria for SMA business.
• Provide company contracting to agents.
• Confirm that Council Credits are properly submitted for qualified business.
• Daily dialogue with CVP discussing all submissions, proposed exceptions, and placements.
What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years minimum relevant analytical experience.
• Microsoft Office suite of products; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Requires high proficiency in Excel with knowledge and ability to spreadsheet and present.
• Must quickly learn the nuances of the Sponsored Marketing offerings, how to contract, council credits.
• Strong leadership ability to take ownership of reports and presentations, keeping the management continually updated.
• Sound decision-making ability for approval and exceptions for 3rd party partners as situations dictate.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $62,500 - $105,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
