Senior Associate, PF4, Technology Communications Business Partner
Role Overview:
New York Life’s Corporate Communications team is seeking a strategic, proactive, and collaborative communicator to serve as a Technology Communications Business Partner. This individual will develop and execute both internal and external communications strategies in support of our enterprise Technology organization.
This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of communication, technology, and organizational change. The Senior Associate will lead communications efforts that support large-scale transformation initiatives, while also enhancing the visibility of the Technology organization through internal brand elevation and external media engagement.
What You’ll Do:
· Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior Technology leaders, developing and executing strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and alignment across internal and external audiences.
· Lead internal communications efforts in support of organizational change within the Technology team, helping employees understand, engage with, and adapt to evolving priorities, new ways of working, and strategic transformation initiatives.
· Support external communications efforts that elevate the visibility of New York Life’s Technology organization, including media engagement, reputation-building activities, and collaboration with the Employer Brand team to help attract top technology talent.
· Craft high-quality communications including leadership messages, talking points, video scripts, internal articles, press materials, and more that reflect the voice, goals, and values of the Technology organization.
· Collaborate across the enterprise with functions such as change management, talent, and training to ensure communication efforts are timely, consistent, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, or a related field
· 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications, with demonstrated success in both internal and external communications
· Proven ability to drive change communications in a large, complex organization; experience supporting enterprise-level transformation initiatives
· Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex or technical topics into clear, compelling narratives
· Strong project management and strategic planning capabilities; able to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously
· Proven ability to collaborate with senior executives and provide thoughtful, strategic communications counsel
· Comfortable navigating a hybrid environment with both in-office and virtual collaboration
Preferred Skills
· Communications experience in a technology-focused environment, whether corporate or startup
· Familiarity with AI tools in support of communications
· Familiarity with media relations or working with PR agencies to develop external messaging
· Knowledge of organizational development, change management principles, or employee experience strategy
· Prior experience working within a regulated or matrixed enterprise environment

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $95,000-$145,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
