Senior Associate, Technology Product Analyst

Duties: Analyzes high-level business requirements and translates them into technical specifications for the Engineering team. Works closely with business unit Product Managers, Engineering, Architects, User Experience (UX), and cross-functional counterparts to develop detailed requirements that enable the creation of high-quality products and the flawless integration of new and existing feature sets. Collaborates with business units on product roadmaps, discovery and scoping of features, and user designs. Documents product requirements, business rules and logic, and defines acceptance criteria. Resolves product questions and drives requirement clarity. Works with Product Managers to understand high-level business requirements. Describes business rules as technical artifacts using internal tools. Acts as the product owner for the Scrum teams which drive project execution. Works with the Product Design team to understand product feasibility and features and analyzes and clarifies product requirements. Works with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that delivered systems are properly tested and meet product requirements. Works with the Technical team to align their development with business needs. Ensures application user experience, responsiveness, and functionality. Participates as a team member to plan individual product features and their development lifecycles. Researches and identifies "best practices" from business and product perspectives. Collaborates and creates Milestone Plan for a given feature delivery and controls the activities sequencing such as product business requirements, UI/UX designs and integrations, and tracking these to meet the delivery timelines.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience performing technology product management, including product strategy, planning, scoping, design, development, and delivery.
Or, alternatively:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience performing technology product management, including product strategy, planning, scoping, design, development, and delivery.
Required Certifications & Skills:
Experience must include 1 year in each of the following: Performing database schema analysis for Whole Life, Custom Whole Life, Supplemental Life Insurance Retirement Plan, and Disability insurance products applying HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR insurance policies and standards to ensure compliance and security measures; Assessing and recommending data and security controls on PEGA and Salesforce platforms and insurance policy illustration WebApp during product development to ensure protection of sensitive client information and compliance with data privacy laws; Developing precise technical insurance product specifications and UI/UX requirements from high-level functional business requirements focusing on insurance products leveraging FIGMA, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Azure to ensure detailed guidelines for the development and implementation of insurance products; Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with internal business teams to ensure software product quality and seamless integration of new features focusing on insurance solutions and “best practices” leveraging Miro Board and Smartsheet for efficient tracking, documentation, and project requirements management to streamline technical implementations; and, Visualizing data, creating insightful reports, and providing data-driven insights leveraging Adobe Analytics and Tableau to assist leadership with informed business decision-making.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
