The Applications and Forms Management team oversees all applications and forms for both Agency and Third Party.  They work closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, Contract Development and Regulatory Filings, Project Management, Technology and Service on changes to these documents.  They develop and maintain forms, work with technology on how forms should generate, run form related meetings and handle any ad hoc projects that help to enhance the customer experience.  


Job Function and Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintain and distribute all annuity new business and service forms
  • Oversee and implement requirements for all annuity application kits and related forms
  • Draft annuity applications based on product specifications
  • Act as liaison with service and technology groups to ensure that all forms for product introductions, enhancements and regulatory updates are posted in a timely manner on all electronic platforms
  • Ensure that procedures are followed and updated
  • Develop and maintain numerous databases that contain form requirements
  • Communicate with and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding annuity forms
  • Act as liaison with vendors to ensure timely development, printing and storage of all annuity application kits and related forms
  • Represent the Applications and Forms Management group in meetings with other NYL Departments as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of annuity products (both registered and non-registered)
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail are required
  • Proven ability to multi-task and quickly assess and adjust priorities
  • Proactive mindset and strong work ethic
  • Understanding of Agency and third- party distribution channels
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
