Eagle Strategies is a Registered Investment Adviser and a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life, based in New York.  Eagle Strategies offers an array of innovative solutions and provides comprehensive investment advisory and financial planning services. This role sits within Eagle Strategies marketing team and is based in New York. The Marketing team within Eagle Strategies is responsible for the marketing strategy, communications, brand, digital marketing, and marketing operations.


Role and Responsibilities

The candidate will primarily be responsible for writing and editing email communications targeted to financial advisors and clients. The communication program covers wealth management/financial planning topics as well as special announcements, email invitations, etc.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the end-to-end development and execution of communications to advisors, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency communications and alignment to editorial best practices and guidelines
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to finalize communications
  • Creating clear and compelling messaging and activation across multiple platforms (e.g., email, website, social, events, video)
  • Editing marketing collateral including brochures, factsheets, articles, presentations, etc.
  • Managing the marketing collateral production and Compliance approval processes
  • Finding effective ways to leverage existing content to drive ongoing awareness of prioritized wealth management/financial planning topics and themes
  • Daily management and updating of editorial calendar and communication trackers
  • Setting up and scheduling emails via our email platform
  • Measuring the effectiveness of communications and marketing campaigns


Key Requirements

  • Candidates must have strong writing and editing experience, preferably within financial services
  • BA/BS with 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage a heavy volume of communications and content
  • Experience working in a very fast-paced environment with very tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks is a must
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Experience working with Eloqua or other email marketing platform
