The NYL Compensation Team is seeking a Senior Associate to support Executive Compensation. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contributor in the preparation of reports, analyses and exhibits for the Talent, Diversity and Compensation Committee and Board meetings.
  • Contribute to market analyses, job evaluations and the development of executive compensation offers and adjustments.
  • Play a lead role in the year-end compensation planning process, including reporting, systems testing and management of executive compensation data.
  • Assist in compensation design, communication and implementation.
  • Support the administration of executive compensation programs, including executive data management in the Company’s HRIS.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects including research, reporting, analysis and the development of recommendations.

 

Ideal Experience and Qualifications

 The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years professional related work experience.
  • Highest level of integrity, ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-focused, results-oriented team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint and experience using Success Factors (or any other leading HRMS systems) required.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to research and analyze data, find relationships, and clearly present findings to others.  100% attention to detail required.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and mathematical skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills to quickly dissect complex issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
