Senior Associate - Executive Technology Support Engineer

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Technology Support Engineer to provide high-level, personalized technology support to our C-suite and senior executives. This role is based in our New York office and requires an on-site presence, as well as travel to executive-attended offsite meetings and Board of Directors events throughout the year. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless, reliable, and secure technology experiences, allowing our senior leadership to stay focused on driving company success.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Executive IT Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for C-suite executives and other senior leaders for all technology needs, including hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
    • Deliver a proactive support experience by anticipating executive technology needs and resolving issues swiftly with minimal disruption to their schedules.
    • Manage and maintain personal and office devices, including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other executive-specific technology.
  2. Meeting and Event Support:
    • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot AV and IT systems for executive meetings and events, both on-site and offsite.
    • Travel as needed to provide on-the-ground support for offsite executive meetings and Board of Directors events, ensuring optimal performance of AV equipment, video conferencing, and other technology solutions.
    • Collaborate with event and facilities teams to ensure technology requirements for executive events are met seamlessly.
  3. Technology Optimization and Training:
    • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize executives' technology setups and workflows, providing recommendations on hardware, software, and productivity tools.
    • Offer personalized training and guidance to executives on using devices, applications, and systems to increase efficiency and comfort with technology.
    • Keep executives informed about relevant updates, new tools, and security best practices.
  4. Security and Confidentiality:
    • Ensure all executive devices, networks, and communications are configured to comply with company security policies and address any vulnerabilities promptly.
    • Protect sensitive company information and data in all interactions, maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion.
  5. Issue Tracking and Management:
    • Log, track, and prioritize technology requests from senior executives, ensuring that all issues are resolved swiftly and thoroughly.
    • Partner with IT support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues that require specialized attention or resources.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with corporate IT, security, and network teams to ensure consistent and reliable executive support.
    • Participate in planning for new technology initiatives, ensuring executive needs are considered and supported.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a minimum of 2 years supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders.
  • Strong expertise in supporting various devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and familiarity with AV and video conferencing technologies.
  • Proven experience with AV setups, video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams), and other productivity tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of providing VIP support and training with patience and professionalism.
  • Ability to travel as required to support executive offsite events and Board meetings throughout the year.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and interactions.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $95,000-$162,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
