Senior Associate - Identity and Access Management Operations

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per quarter

Role Overview:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Senior Associate is responsible for the support and maintenance of the IAM tools, proactive identification of issues and collaborating with broader business and technology teams to drive remediation.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, Agile methodology proficiency, excellent communications skills, and business acumen to oversee, guide, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions by multiple teams within the organization.

 

In addition, this team works closely with users requiring support, handles daily tasks & key audit controls. Aside from providing superior end user support, this team is mostly focused on compliance risk which is also a very manually intensive operation. Additionally, this team is highly impacted by other organizational processes (e.g. – cost center changes, re-orgs, etc.) because birthright access and lifecycle management are tightly coupled to our authoritative sources for human capital. The team is connected at the hip with Human Resources and Contingent Worker Office to ensure our many flavors of end users have the right access at the right time.

 

What You’ll Do:

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, Agile methodology proficiency, excellent communications skills, and business acumen to oversee, guide, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions by multiple teams within the organization.

 

What You’ll Bring:

Minimum three years of experience being in lead role that is responsible for the support and operation of   IAM environments and IAM security tools. Demonstrated team lead/supervisory experience in a similar capacity may be considered.

 

You will play a crucial role in supporting our IAM initiatives. You will leverage your experience with IAM tools to assist in the implementation, management, and optimization of identity governance solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that access controls are in place and aligned with business requirements and security policies.

 

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a strong understanding of IAM concepts and practices. Assist with the development and maintenance of IAM related policies, standards and processes.
  • Establish a continual service improvement plan and improve the overall IAM service, focusing on operational, process and resource efficiency
  • Provide guidance to business partners about applicability of information security to meet business needs
  • Proven experience with IAM Tools (SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), CyberArk, PING, AD, LDAP) implementation and administration.
  • 3+ years of experience with developing and maintaining run support procedures, standards and controls, including aggregation review and issue resolution, SoD violation reviews, NPE tracking and follow-up, native control reviews, password masking and encryption best practices
  • Maintain alignment of IAM vision with Information Security objectives and business requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology OR in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology

 

 

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)).
  • Familiarity with identity governance frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $95,000-$162,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
