Enterprise Modeling Team (EMT)




The EMT is responsible for supporting business areas enterprise-wide with their Asset-Liability Modeling (ALM), Valuation, and other forecasting modeling needs.  The EMT controls and configures Prophet models covering Cash Flow Testing, Embedded Value, Stress Testing, Risk Based Capital, Duration Analysis, Economic Capital, Budget/Planning, Investment Risk Budget and Valuation.  In addition to supporting the Prophet models, the team engages heavily with the business units to understand prospective needs and provide updates to results in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities for this position place focus on the drive for continuous improvement from an operational perspective.  The candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining actuarial input data sets in both Table Manager and Assumption Manager within the Prophet Enterprise environment for all business units.  Actuarial input data sets include assumptions, policyholder and asset data.  Where possible, suggestions and feedback on data pain points and inefficiencies should be highlighted and communicated to the PCoE team, as well as opportunities for improvement.  A sample of the projects the role encompasses, but is not limited to, is as follows:


  • Update and control actuarial modeling metrics across all lines of business
  • Document modeling updates and provide a reasonableness review of results
  • Create and execute controlled processes for managing updates and data with stakeholders
  • Focus on logistics and optimizing every step of enterprise model maintenance




The EMT wrestles with, tests and implements many leading-edge techniques.  We are looking for someone with the following skill-set:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail required
  • Experience with the FIS Prophet Suite such as Professional and Enterprise is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access is preferred
