Senior Associate - QA Lead, Quality Engineering & Automation
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
The QA Lead, Quality Engineering & Automation will drive quality engineering across complex, enterprise-scale applications. This role is responsible for shaping QA strategy, leading automation and testing delivery, and ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable software releases across integrated systems. The QA Lead will partner closely with engineering, product, program, and business stakeholders to align on quality expectations, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices aligned to business and technology goals.
• Lead QA efforts across multiple projects, teams, and integrated systems, ensuring alignment with delivery timelines and dependencies.
• Drive test planning, execution, and release readiness across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Build and scale automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers, including integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing across upstream/downstream systems, third-party integrations, test data, and environments.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into testable outcomes and clear quality expectations.
• Track and report quality metrics, defect trends, test coverage, release readiness, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, production issue reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Mentor QA team members and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
A strong background in quality engineering, test automation, enterprise delivery, and Agile/DevOps practices, with the ability to lead cross-functional QA efforts in complex, integrated environments.
• 8+ years of QA/Quality Engineering experience, including leadership experience.
• Strong test automation experience using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, MABL, or similar.
• Hands-on API testing experience with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with complex enterprise systems, Agile/SAFe delivery, test management, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or similar regulated domains.
• Exposure to Salesforce, CRM platforms, or configuration-driven systems.
• Experience with test data management, environment coordination, and large-scale integration testing.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, Cloud, or similar.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $124,000-$177,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
