Position Description

This position is part of the Source-to-Pay Systems Management & Support team that is responsible for maintaining the systems that support Procurement, including

  • SAP Ariba Sourcing
  • SAP Ariba Contracts
  • SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing
  • SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance
  • SAP Ariba Spend Analysis

 

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and test the Procurement systems to ensure the systems are performing as expected and that access to those systems is controlled.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute comprehensive test plans required to implement production support, enhancements and upgrades (including after hours and weekend testing of support packs and upgrades moving to production).
  • Support all production work efforts and troubleshoot system production problems.
  • Assist with implementation of production support changes and enhancements.
  • Create documentation for implementation of system changes. Update user manuals and training materials.
  • Provide customer assistance for Help Desk inquiries.  Provide customer training.
  • Participate in systems and business process audits.
  • Participate in Business Contingency and Disaster Recovery testing efforts as necessary.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or computer science is preferred.
  • Previous work experience in Procurement is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience including knowledge of system testing procedures.
  • Ability to create and execute test plans required for project implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and project management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet established target dates with minimal supervision.
