The Third Party Lifecycle Management, Sr. Associate will support the processes and resources required to provide the appropriate level of oversight and support to 1st line relationship owners in managing the third party lifecycle. This individual will be responsible to ensure data integrity and measure controls associated to managing the third-party inventory.  

 

> Responsible for the active management of NYL's comprehensive third-party inventory of both Traditional and Non-Traditional Third Parties.
> Manage the completion of IRAs within the target SLAs and provide exception reports for outliers with recommendations for improved performance.
> Partner closely with Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management to enhance the processes of third-party inventory management and improve the lifecycle methodology with new enhanced processes and tool integration. 
> Promote a risk-aware culture and ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required internal standards and regulations.
> Partner closely with Procurement, utilizing their sourcing request intake process and pipeline meetings, to identify potential new third-party relationships or changes to and extensions of existing third-party relationships that will require valid inherent risk ratings to be recorded.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree required; 3+ years experience

- Relevant experience with one ore more of the following: Third Party Risk, Vendor Performance & Portfolio Management, Supply Chain Management, Operational Risk, Audit

- Demonstrate familiarity with insurance industry

- Knowledge of various third party assessment types

- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
- Ability to think strategically and apply problem solving skills
- Demonstrated delivery of high quality results within expected timelines
- Team player who is collaborative but also can lead and drive initiatives

 

 

 

Salary range: $90,000-$135,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
