Job Function and Key Duties and Responsibility:

The candidate will act as a Multimedia Producer for the internal video production studio of a Fortune 100 corporation. Responsibilities will include client communications, planning, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery of video content.  The candidate will be involved in many aspects of the Studio's video production capabilities and will work with the Studio's Head of Production, producers, and internal clients at all stages of the production process. The ideal candidate has a solid knowledge of visual storytelling and is able pivot between solo content creation to taking the lead of a professional crew with creativity, energy, passion, and grace.  Candidate is expected to have excellent filmmaking, written and verbal communication skills.

Duties include:

  • Once a project is assigned the candidate will act as the project lead for small one to two person crews to larger productions. The candidate will drive all aspects of their projects from client communications, estimate and timeline creation and adherence, production, edit and final delivery.
  • To leverage our brand voice and institutional knowledge to efficiently interpret a stakeholder’s specific request into the most effective video communication possible.
  • To be an expert on the production teams capabilities and process and to be a role model for the teams focus on production standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Video Producer for projects from their inception to delivery with exposure to interview driven, short form documentary projects.
  • The candidate must have experience with the technical elements that are required to create an effective video communication.  Including a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. Must also have a baseline understanding of video codecs, compression, field audio, lighting, and camera.
  • Candidate must possess a solid understanding video production workflows and procedures.
  • The position requires for the candidate to have had experience as the leader of production teams with a high level of skill, self-assurance, and presence.  This includes staff and freelance production professionals during the pre-production, production, and post-production phases
  • Experience in making informed and at times quick decisions that affect budget, deadlines, execution, and messaging for projects.
  • The position requires the candidate to have had experience in the creation of compelling visual and audio communication pieces.
  • The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and have the ability to interact effectively with stake holders, business partners and senior leadership.
