This is an exciting opportunity to join New York Life’s enterprise Change and OD Center of Excellence. This team plays a pivotal role in the company’s evolution by supporting leaders, managers, and employees through change—preparing for new skills and behaviors and reinforcing adoption.

This role requires a consultative approach and an execution-focused mindset as it partners with the business to provide best practice change management and organization development tools and strategies to help drive large-scale and complex transformations, while keeping a strong focus on our customer- and employee-first culture. The work includes, but is not limited to, assessing leadership alignment, stakeholder analysis, learning needs, communication strategies, and end-to-end organizational development efforts—including the delivery of tailored learning interventions to support sustained change.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting change, transformation, and learning initiatives within the financial services industry and/or large, complex corporate environments. They are a team player with a positive growth mindset who is adept at learning the business, creating internal partnerships, demonstrating empathy, fostering collaboration, and implementing solutions that reinforce organizational culture and inspire employee engagement.

What You’ll Bring

Change Management Strategy & Planning

· Apply a change management method, process, and tools to create strategies that support adoption of changes required by projects or initiatives.

· Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments.

· Develop and implement change management plans aligned with organizational goals.

· Identify and manage expected and persistent resistance.

· Consult and coach project teams in leading and sustaining change efforts.

Organization Development & Learning

· Assess organization-wide change saturation and fatigue; identify compounding risks.

· Diagnose organizational needs and apply OD techniques to improve team and employee effectiveness.

· Identify learning solutions to address capability gaps within the business.

· Design and deliver targeted talent, learning, and development tools and programming, including but not limited to: role clarity sessions, change readiness workshops, manager enablement toolkits, and learning experiences that support adoption and behavior change.

· Collaborate with internal partners to ensure learning experiences are aligned with change and transformation priorities.

Measurement and Evaluation

· Establish metrics and feedback loops to evaluate the success of change and learning interventions.

· Conduct regular evaluations to assess the impact of change initiatives and learning programs in driving desired business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred, with specialized coursework in HR, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Adult Learning, or related disciplines.

· 3–5 years of experience in Change Management and/or Organization Development; experience in learning program development and facilitation is strongly desired.

· PROSCI Change Management Certification preferred.

· Demonstrated experience supporting complex change initiatives—including designing tools, assessing impacts, implementing strategies, and measuring outcomes.

· Proven ability to develop, curate, and deliver learning solutions that support capability development and behavior change.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including facilitating inclusive meetings and learning sessions of all sizes.

· Collaborative relationship builder and proactive team player.

· Strong project management skills including fluency with MS Office and Teams; openness to leveraging digital learning and collaboration tools.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $95,000-$ 125,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
