Sr. Associate, Compensation HRIS Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Compensation HRIS Operations Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role will focus on managing the annual compensation planning process, ensuring seamless execution and providing key support as the primary liaison between the Compensation and HRIS teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, a deep understanding of HRIS, and familiarity with compensation practices. Additionally, this role will offer exposure to traditional compensation activities, such as market benchmarking and job evaluations, making it a great opportunity to work at the intersection of compensation strategy, HR data management, and system optimization. You’ll play a key role in driving the success of the company’s compensation programs while gaining exposure to both the technical and strategic sides of HR.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end project management of the annual compensation planning cycle, ensuring smooth execution of the process.
- Develop, implement and manage detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Serve as primary point of contact between the Compensation and HRIS teams to ensure alignment of data, systems and processes throughout the compensation planning process.
- Define system requirements related to annual compensation planning and help drive process improvements for better efficiency, accuracy and reporting.
- Oversee and manage the collection, validation and reporting of compensation-related data.
- Collaborate with HRIS team to troubleshoot system data issues and ensure seamless flow of compensation data across systems.
- Produce compensation reports and dashboards for senior leadership, providing insights into compensation trends, issues and opportunities.
- Assist with compensation analyses, market benchmarking and survey submissions.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in project management or HRIS-related roles, ideally within a compensation-focused capacity.
- Experience working with complex HRIS infrastructures and managing HR data. Experience with Success Factors is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead meetings, manage competing priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in navigating complex system or data issues.
- Previous exposure to compensation principles such as market benchmarking, pay structures and job evaluations is highly preferred.
- High proficiency with Excel and experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate complex information.
- Must be a self-starter, detail-focused, results-oriented, team player.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
This is an exempt role (not eligible for overtime pay).
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $95,000-$125,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
