Trading Systems Associate
Location Designation: Hybrid - 4 days per week
NYL Investors LLC was formed in October 2013 as a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company with the primary responsibility for managing the fixed income and real estate assets of New York Life and other strategic partners. With over 300 professionals, the organization manages over $300 billion of assets under management, through three investment groups.
Intermediate level position in which the Trading Systems Associate will carry out assignments independently using discretion and judgment to determine the appropriate course of action with minimal supervision. The responsibilities for this position include the setup and review of Aladdin security masters, maintenance of issuer related data, reviewing daily and monthly reconciliations and data integrity reports and solutioning issues, creation and coordination of reports within Aladdin, supporting the front office and serving as a liaison between BlackRock Aladdin and the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish and maintain security master data in Aladdin.
- Manage and update issuer-level information, including limits and roll-ups, and communicate changes to analysts.
- Perform and resolve exceptions from daily and monthly reconciliations between Aladdin and source systems.
- Build, run, and coordinate Aladdin reporting tools (Green Package, Explore, Aladdin View).
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver system enhancements.
- Provide support across multiple platforms, including Bloomberg, MarketAxess, and Tradeweb.
- Act as a key liaison between Aladdin, traders, analysts, and other internal groups.
- Develop subject matter expertise in core Aladdin applications.
- Recommend and present process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Assist with testing activities and documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- BS in Business Administration or Finance
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve reconciliation discrepancies efficiently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently.
- Knowledge of Financial instruments including fixed income, equities and alternative investments.
- Familiarity with Aladdin or Bloomberg is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (ex: VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
