An associate position on the Treasury Operations team within Treasury and FP&A in Corporate Finance.  You will be part of an operational and dynamic team primarily responsible for assisting in the preparation and  maintenance  of the company’s  cash forecasts,  approving and releasing wire transfers and checks, acting as a security liaison and helping with any ad-hoc request that may arise.

Major responsibilities:

  • Support the senior associate in the daily maintenance of cash forecasts for NYLIC, NYLIAC and certain subsidiaries.  Includes managing file transfers, reviewing emails and contacting business units for updates.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of daily and weekly forecast updates
  • Assisting department in the approval and release of wire transfers input by Treasury team located in Knoxville Perform the security liaison role, adding/removing access for Treasury users and some business units (BU)
  • Participate and provide support with ad hoc requests for any aspect of Treasury


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Familiarity with Treasury Workstations preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance company line of business structure preferred
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, Word
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management
