Position Summary:

The Flexible Premium Team Associate will report directly to the Corporate Vice President, who leads the Universal Life product development efforts within Retail Life.  The Associate will be actively involved in every phase of the product lifecycle, working across the entire organization and making contributions in several disciplines to support, the development of NYL's Universal and Variable Universal Life products, sales growth and increased earnings.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support new product development and sales initiatives for the Universal and Variable Universal Life product lines.
  • Serve as the point person for the team's ad hoc data inquiries for policies and policyholder demographics. Create reports to address relevant business needs, or work with business partners to obtain the required information. Provide high level summaries of key findings.
  • Lead the coordination, assembly and delivery of regularly occurring status reports; maintain all Universal and Variable Universal Life product-related marketing and training collateral; and manage marketing and communications pieces through the compliance approval process, for the Universal and Variable Universal Life product development process.
  • Assist in creating the necessary material required to go through our internal governance processes.
  • Lead or support ad hoc product management-related projects as needed.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience
