Position Summary

The Retail Life/IDI/LTC Vendor Management Team directly supports the Underwriting teams and is responsible for managing the third-party vendors with whom we engage to secure underwriting requirements. The team oversees vendor performance to ensure timely and accurate securing of vital information as well as an exceptional customer experience for our clients, agents and underwriters. They are also responsible for payment and monitoring of expenses associated with underwriting new applications. 


This role will be critical in supporting the team’s oversight of vendor performance.  


The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can work under limited supervision. They should possess a continuous process improvement mindset with an ability to identify problems and propose solutions. The candidate should have experience delivering high caliber service. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.  Critical thinking, data analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills will be important to your success in this role.



Participate in the execution of the Vendor Governance Program for all vendors and all lines of business

  • Compile and generate vendor performance metrics
  • Develop tableau dashboards to assist in the monitoring of expenses and SLAs
  • SLA monitoring, reporting, analyzing
  • Conduct ongoing QA reviews of vendor services
  • Address vendor complaints and field inquiries
  • Assist with the monitoring of expenses 
  • Lead ad hoc projects designed to improve processes and add efficiencies
  • Assist senior team members with contract management
  • Assist with the documentation and remediation of technical service tickets
  • Proactively identify and communicate operational issues
  • Support the project management function by handling meeting scheduling and minutes



  • General experience in a corporate environment is preferred, not required
  • Experience with Tableau is preferred, not required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills



  • Bachelor’s degree
