The Vice President of HR and Corporate Platforms Technology is an executive leader responsible for defining and executing the technology vision across Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Communication, and Corporate Responsibility functions. This role bridges business and technology, driving digital transformation, AI and data innovation, employee experience, workforce enablement, and organizational agility through scalable, secure, and innovative technologies. As a member of the senior technology leadership team, this role partners with C-level stakeholders and enterprise technology leaders to deliver scalable platforms, modern digital experiences, and secure, compliant systems that support key governance and people priorities.

 

While not directly responsible for needs such as infrastructure, network, and cyber security, the Technology Lead will coordinate with the enterprise-level technology team to support their value stream in these areas. To be successful in this role, the Technology Lead must have a strong understanding of agile development methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment

  • Lead the development and execution of an integrated technology strategy and roadmap spanning Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Communication, Audit, and Corporate Responsibility.
  • Align functional technology priorities with enterprise architecture, data, security, and innovation strategies.
  • Champion transformation and modernization efforts across corporate platforms, integrating emerging technologies including AI, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with the Foundational Business CIO, Strategic Business CIO, Centers for Enablement (C4Es), and Technology Value Stream Leads to align HR technology direction with broader enterprise objectives.

 Human Resources Technology Leadership

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms including SAP SuccessFactors (or equivalent), learning systems, performance, payroll, and talent solutions.
  • Drive the digitization of the employee lifecycle, enhancing workforce experience and analytics capabilities.
  • Introduce generative AI and ML-based solutions to improve decision-making, talent intelligence, and HR operations.
  • Drive annual and periodic refreshes of strategic HR technology roadmaps, incorporating enterprise planning cycles and business demand trends.

 

Legal, Compliance, Communication, Corporate Responsibility & Audit Technology Enablement

  • Lead technology strategy, implementation, and support for systems related to legal case management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), e-discovery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Enable compliance tracking, policy management, risk mitigation, and data governance platforms in collaboration with enterprise risk and legal teams.
  • Deliver automation and secure workflows for internal audit and assurance activities, enhancing transparency and accountability.
  • Implement digital solutions supporting corporate ethics, ESG reporting, and corporate responsibility initiatives.

 

AI, Data & Innovation Enablement

  • Oversee the growth and integration of generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and intelligent automation into business workflows.
  • Champion the use of data-driven insights and digital tools to drive smarter business decisions across corporate functions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation through experimentation, design thinking, and cross-functional use case development.

 

Technology & Delivery Oversight

  • Manage the full application and digital portfolio supporting all assigned functions, including roadmap planning, platform operations, vendor governance, and solution delivery.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for platform delivery, including development, quality assurance, maintenance, and incident response.
  • Drive agile, SAFe-based execution practices to accelerate delivery velocity and improve stakeholder engagement.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Demand Management

  • Partner with business function leaders to gather, prioritize, and align technology needs and demand across departments.
  • Serve as the intake owner and strategic planner for cross-functional initiatives, facilitating prioritization, funding decisions, and resource optimization.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services, Data, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure aligned delivery and architectural integrity.

  • Matrix reporting to Corporate Functions leader(s)

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years in executive or senior leadership roles focused on HR technology or workforce platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT required; Master’s/MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep experience delivering enterprise systems across HR, Legal, Compliance, Audit, or similar corporate domains.
  • Proven track record in leading transformation, AI adoption, portfolio planning, and cloud/SaaS solution implementations.
  • Expertise in agile delivery, strategic planning, financial stewardship, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and internal control systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML strategy, data management, and digital workplace technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives and partner effectively with senior business stakeholders.
  • Expertise in agile and SAFe delivery methodologies, demand management, and portfolio planning.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: 260,000-300,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
