Offered Wage: $123,500/year
Duties: Directs collaboration with experience owners and business partners to drive backlog priority. Responsible for decomposition of business directives into executable features and user stories, including a first pass of feature and user story acceptance criteria, detailed requirement gathering to drive said acceptance criteria, and memorialization of deliverables in design and architecture materials. Develops and executes feature delivery plans, including development, testing, and implementation in collaboration with the System Architect. Leads refinement sessions with the team to document detailed user stories and sessions to determine plans for next iterations once per sprint. Leverages data (SQL) and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience in a Product Owner or Analyst role performing system analysis on a data-oriented project
OR, in the alternative:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or Analyst role performing system analysis on a data-oriented project
Required Skills:
Experience must include 1 year in each of the following skills:
- Analyzing business requirement to determine and clarify any gaps in understanding and performing analysis and feasibility studies;
- Performing system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) participating in sprint planning;
- Writing detailed functional requirement documents, mapping rule documents, testing considerations and flowcharts that capture all business and technical requirements; and,
- Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including business requirement, analysis, designing, requirements documentation, development, unit testing, deployment, and production implementation.
