This Senior Administrative Assistant for Group Benefit Solutions Underwriting will provide direct administrative support for the Chief Underwriting Officer, as well as assist with various administrative responsibilities for four other Executive Officers and the Group Benefit Solution Underwriting (GBS UW) organization more broadly.

 

The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills, be flexible and agile as priorities change, work effectively with other administrative assistants and be able to handle confidential information responsibly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars, travel and daily priorities of executive officers, and assist with the day-to-day operations of their respective areas
  • Provide support for the Department including coordination of Town Halls and Employee Engagement Events in various GBS UW hubs (including Philadelphia, Kansas City, Nashville and Phoenix)
  • Prepare and reconcile travel and business expense reports
  • Lead the coordination of the on-boarding process for Full Time and Internship hires
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, reserve rooms, forward meeting notices, arrange conference calls or video conferences, order meals, arrange dinners and prepare meeting materials.
  • Handle all aspects of administrative support in a timely and professional manner, including creation/review/revision of memos, letters, presentations, and reports
  • Order and maintain supplies and equipment, and handle other administrative duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • High level of professionalism with strong interpersonal skills and team-first orientation
  • Bachelors or Professional Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate environment preferred
  • Excellent organization skills; exceptional attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality; good judgment and diplomacy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
