Group Benefit Solutions is seeking a strong individual with the ability to focus on product filing and compliance of Group Benefits Solutions Group Life, Accident, Disability and Supplemental Health. This person is responsible for securing state regulatory form/rate approval and implementation and work on significant processes utilizing independent judgment and discretion.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages documentation of multi-state product availability, and regulatory compliance working with cross-functional teams. 
  • Development of state product form filing submissions via SERFF industry filing system.
  • Research and analyze state regulation related to product mandates and extraterritorial form filing requirements.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Compliance and Legal partners to understand and negotiate state specific product specifications during state review process. 
  • Manage multiple state product filing projects, working with business area partners.  
  • Ensure reporting accuracy related to product forms and state filing data.
  • Document state variations of existing policy language.
  • Respond to state insurance department inquires related to market conduct, and form approval data.
  • Engage with multiple matrix partners to proactively identify needs and prioritize deliverables.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting group product compliance and state filing requirements for Group Life, Accident, Disability and Supplemental Health products.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
  • Ability to work across the organization and provide excellent service to our partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated Self Starter, forward thinker who is open to new ideas and concepts.
  • Has a flexible and creative approach; enjoys working across the organization in a team-oriented environment.

Salary range: $90,000-$135,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
