Annuity New Business Representative – New Business Processing
Location: Hybrid – onsite one day a quarter in either of our Service Centers in Dallas, TX or Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9:30 – 6:00 cst.

As part of our Annuity New Business team, you will play a vital role in supporting agents and ensuring smooth processing of annuity applications—from handling submissions and payments to responding to inquiries.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute routine administrative tasks including reviewing correspondence, processing initial fund requests, and conducting follow-up via calls and emails.
- Validate completeness and accuracy of submissions, analyze and correct errors, request missing documentation, and route materials as needed.
- Process initial premium payments and related accounting adjustments to new annuity policies.
- Establish high-quality customer relationships by providing accurate, timely, and helpful responses to inquiries.
- Respond to calls and conduct research on agent inquiries requiring further follow-up.
- Maintain working knowledge of administrative systems, annuity products, and onboarding procedures.
- Provide backup phone support for the Annuity New Business Call Center.
- Handle special assignments as directed by management.

Required Skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, with computer proficiency expectations
- Excellent data entry, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent time management while focusing on time sensitive task
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2–5 years of experience in customer service
- Knowledge of insurance/investment industry preferred
- Experience managing high-volume task under strict deadlines
Training & Development:
You’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing coaching that covers:
- NYL annuity products and administrative systems
- Onboarding procedures and submission standards
- Customer service etiquette and phone skills
Compensation & Schedule:
- Competitive base salary
- Eligible for overtime and performance-based bonuses
- Full-time hours, Monday–Friday

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $30,000-$50,000
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
