Corporate Vice President - Senior ServiceNow Platform Architect

Role Overview:
New York Life is seeking a highly skilled Sr. ServiceNow Platform Architect to lead the technical architecture and platform capabilities of ServiceNow across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in driving standardization, best practices, and technical governance while ensuring that ServiceNow solutions meet business needs and align with industry standards.
The Sr. ServiceNow Platform Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions, fostering end-user adoption, and managing technical governance processes. As the technical subject matter expert, the architect will oversee IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM), SecOps, Vulnerability Response, and Asset Management, with a strong focus on the platform's Gen AI capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
• Strategic Implementation: Manage the strategic implementation roadmap and architecture blueprint to ensure alignment with business goals. Leveraging AI and Generative AI to enhance platform capabilities and drive innovation.
• Architectural Oversight: Provide architectural oversight and governance for all project and enhancement requests, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Technical Governance: Establish and manage technical governance processes for development and admin teams to maintain consistency and quality.
• Demand Evaluation: Evaluate demands for new applications and changes to existing applications, translating them into an architectural blueprint.
• Best Practices: Provide technical best practices, standards, and design support for complex projects and integrations.
• Module Implementation: Guide and support the implementation of ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations, Vulnerability Response, GRC/Risk Management, Hardware & Software asset management and future ServiceNow modules, ensuring a cohesive and extensible platform
• Integration Architecture: Define current state and target state integration architecture (REST, Data Extracts/Loads) for the ServiceNow platform and automation capabilities, ensuring interoperability and scalability across different technology stacks.
• Platform Maintenance: Advise and oversee patching, upgrades, and significant changes on the platform.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
• CMDB Strategy: Lead efforts in the CMDB and Configuration and Asset Management strategy and implementation, ensuring data accuracy, relationship/service mapping, and overall CI health.
What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of ServiceNow Platform Experience with an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including scripting, platform configuration, design, and deployment.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow's ITSM, ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping), Asset Management (SAM & HAM) Security Operations, Vulnerability Response, Third-Party Risk Management (GRC) modules, and AI and Generative AI within the platform.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, integration frameworks (REST, SOAP, MID Servers), and automation tools.
• Experience with governance frameworks, security models, compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and ITIL best practices.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or related areas.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies for ServiceNow development and deployment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, set priorities, and follow timelines.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $122,500-$210,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
