Location Designation: Remote 

 

 

The In-Market Regional Advisor Consultant (RAC) is responsible for supporting and selling New York Life Investment products to advisors in their region.  The Ideal candidate would have local market knowledge, strong relationships with advisors in the territory and the ability to help drive sales of products across multiple platforms. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Divisional Sales Manager and Business Intelligence to develop and strengthen a business plan to maximize market share, assets and profitability for assigned territory.
  • Help to and develop and build new relationships as well as identify new selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing team cultivating leads and identifying new opportunities with an emphasis on digital engagement.
  • Design and implement call plan strategies with marketing to drive sales campaigns.
  • Present New York Life Investment products and services to advisors knowledgeably and effectively so that advisors can clearly identify the benefits of the products relative to its competitors.
  • Readily available to attend industry conferences and events when needed.
  • Provide advisors technical information, including a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, financial markets and industry related topics.
  • Travel within the territory.
  • Serves as a liaison between sales, marketing and business intelligence to harness the full power of intelligent distribution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Willing to live in territory of WA ex Coast, OR ex Portland, North of Chico CA, ID ex Boise, MT, WY Western Border 
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Series 7 and 63 licensing exams
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Tableau
  • Cross channel Wirehouse and Independent experience
  • Strong sales process knowledge 
  • Thorough knowledge of MainStay mutual funds & IQ ETFs and its products that impact the business, as well as sales and marketing strategies
  • Please note: This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.

     

 

 

Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: No 

Sales bonus eligible: Yes Yes
