Role Overview:
 

 

The Salesforce Experience Owner is a key contributor to the Distribution Enablement and Communications team, specializing in leveraging Salesforce technology to support field operations. Manages the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Salesforce improvements, including testing and ongoing support. This strategic, hands-on role serves as the liaison between IT and field teams, ensuring seamless development, adoption, and maintenance of critical Salesforce tools for Distribution. Additionally, supports the optimization of business processes to fully leverage Salesforce capabilities.

 

What You’ll Do:

 


• Collaborates with Distribution Technology Strategy Lead and Distribution Leadership teams to align business processes with Salesforce technology and organizational goals.
• Partners with IT to ensure effective Salesforce usage and maximize adoption across field teams. Develops and presents materials to drive Salesforce engagement and optimize team performance.
• Ensures seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems for efficient information sharing and trend analysis.
• Applies a long-term business perspective to Salesforce development initiatives, understanding work and data flows across the organization to ensure processes benefit the overall GBS organization.
• Manages communication regarding Salesforce technology changes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and understand the implications of any updates or modifications.
• Manages release and incident communications for designated business units, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
• Works closely with reporting teams to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Partners with training teams to develop materials and training for new or enhanced Salesforce features, ensuring effective adoption across teams.
• Manages Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for designated business units, preparing test scripts and coordinating testing efforts with end users.
• Coordinates with IT during Salesforce release cycles, ensuring thorough testing and smooth rollouts, engaging during off-hours as needed.
• Manages release and incident communications for designated business units, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
• Acts as the point of escalation for Salesforce incidents impacting large user groups, ensuring swift resolution.

 

What you'll bring:

 


• Proficient knowledge in group insurance business, including experience with GBS products, underwriting, risk and financial analysis, marketing processes, sales practices, and administrative operations. Strong understanding of integrating Salesforce with these functions.
• Advanced understanding of the group insurance business, with specific expertise in leveraging Salesforce to support operations and improve business outcomes.
• Prior experience with Salesforce, supporting various teams and stakeholders, including customization, reporting, and process automation to enhance business processes.
• Experience in Change and Project Management for large Salesforce-related initiatives, including platform enhancements, migrations, and adoption efforts.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to act decisively in fast-paced environments, especially in situations with limited information. Strong leadership skills with a focus on driving Salesforce adoption and utilization.
• Proven experience managing relationships with internal and external Salesforce stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
• Strong influencing skills across a matrix environment, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization to champion Salesforce adoption and drive change.

Pay Transparency

Salary range: $77,500-$132,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
