The Advanced Analytics Sr. Associate should understand the needs of Agency senior management, colleagues across many of the business units throughout Agency and Information Technology, agents, agent staff, managing partners, zone managers, etc. and present insights from the newly built data hub to present large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations. A successful candidate will create impactful, meaningful dashboards that will impact various parts of the organization at all different levels. The person filling this role will oversee and present insights for visualization for data mining, presentation and dashboard development.

 

Role Overview

  • Focused on assessing and interpreting data in line with the business goals
  • Deliver value by using data to answer questions and communicate/report the results through impactful visualizations
  • Provide timely information to support senior leadership in decision making through dashboards to a wide range of people in the organization
  • Provide direction to the data tech teams on how to implement a Enterprise wide BI tool
  • Effectively serves as the bridge between data and business insights
  • Present large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations
  • Oversee visualization for data mining, presentation and dashboard development
  • Conduct research into data issues and reports as required
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Computer Science/IT or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience with more than one reporting and business intelligence tool (Tableau, Spotfire, Domo, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • 5+ years of experience with relational databases 3+ years of experiance with Big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark, etc.) is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in Python, or R is preferred Expert in data visualization and deep understanding of relational databases to be able to create insights from large data sets
  • Ability to blend data from various data sources to produce actionable information
  • Strong data visualizations skills for "Story- telling" through data
  • Ability to work in white space environment and think outside the box in defining the Key Performance indicators
  • Able to simplify complex processes into easy-to-understand mocking of new Dashboard screens or enhancements to existing screens, developing test plans, testing key changes

 

 

Salary range: $82,500-$122,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
