When you join New York Life, you’re joining a company that values career development, collaboration, innovation, and inclusiveness. We want employees to feel proud about being part of a company that is committed to doing the right thing. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your career while developing personally and professionally through various resources and programs. New York Life is a relationship-based company and appreciates how both virtual and in-person interactions support our culture.

New York Life’s protection-first advice and guidance methodology takes a holistic approach to providing sound financial advice. We use a unique, outcome orientation approach that’s delivered with genuine care, designed to offer our clients real peace of mind.

Our new GuideMe platform is the digital planning tool that helps our agents bring this approach to life. It’s designed to modernize our agent case design and presentation abilities in a way that meets the evolving expectations of modern consumers.

The platform MVP allows new agents to facilitate life protection-focused client conversations through a simplified, digital process. Current capabilities include a module to position New York Life and the agent, a detailed fact finder / discovery process, and a life layer solution.

The early field results and feedback on GuideMe have been very positive. GuideMe reduces case design steps and training needs, keeps appointments on track, and helps build agent confidence by providing guardrails for a conversational appointment flow. We’re seeing early evidence that agents who use GuideMe are more effective as a result.

We have ambitious plans for GuideMe in 2022 and beyond. Next up is the first version of an accumulation-focused module to GuideMe. And, we have a robust roadmap for the future, including experiences that cover an expanded number of New York Life products (in both protection and accumulation) and cater to a wider range of increasingly sophisticated agent practices.

The New York Life product suite is already a critical component of delivering the GuideMe experience to consumers. The importance and sophistication of the role NYL products play in GuideMe is only going to increase as the platform scales. We’re looking to add a Digital Advanced Analytics position to understand the needs of Agency management and collaborate with the team on our efforts for tracking progress towards business objectives, delivering insights on usage, clickpath, adoption, business impact, etc.
