Role Overview:
The Digital Solutions Analyst at New York Life Group Benefit Solutions is a customer-focused problem solver who creates innovative technical solutions that anticipate and address consumer needs, priorities, and behaviors. This role requires a deep understanding of how customers move through digital experiences—learning, engaging, and achieving their desired outcomes across our web-based platforms. As a key contributor to the design and implementation of digital solutions, the Digital Solutions Analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver strategies that ensure our digital experiences remain intuitive, competitive, and ahead of evolving technological and customer expectations.
We are seeking a Digital Solutions Analyst to play a critical role in shaping, delivering, and optimizing digital experiences across our web-based platforms. This role combines technical expertise, customer empathy, and strong project leadership to design and deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency, support business objectives, and create seamless experiences for our customers.
The Digital Solutions Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and UX/UI teams—ensuring requirements are clear, solutions are aligned with company goals, and outcomes drive measurable business value.
What You’ll Do:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Act as a project lead with IT to capture business requirements, inform user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scripts for feature design, testing, and implementation.
- Drive agile and product delivery methods, solving complex delivery issues and adapting processes as needed to ensure success.
- Take accountability for end-to-end project success, including operational readiness activities.
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, providing clear and consistent communication with teams and leadership.
- Effectively plan, facilitate, and document meetings, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Solution Design & Development
- Partner with front-end development and UI/UX design teams to deliver best-in-class digital experiences.
- Integrate user experience and interaction considerations into development processes.
- Design and solution new processes and customer journeys, ensuring alignment with company and IT objectives.
- Collaborate with business sponsors to define requirements that increase efficiency and support business objectives.
- Develop and document workflows, processes, and future-state solutions to solve business challenges.
- Research and resolve production issues, working with the necessary individuals and teams to drive resolution.
User Research & Insights
- Conduct market research, gather customer and client feedback, and perform user testing to inform solution design.
- Build a cross-functional understanding of company products and business operations to ensure customer-centric solutions.
- Leverage market and competitive insights, customer needs, and business priorities to shape digital product vision and strategy.
Measurement & Optimization
- Monitor user data post-launch to track feature utilization and adoption.
- Ensure a data-driven approach to prioritize features that maximize value for users and business partners.
- Continuously measure and optimize digital experiences to support seamless self-service and assisted interactions.
- Define future-state user journeys that deliver competitive differentiation.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate and socialize the business value of digital features and experiences with internal and external audiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to foster alignment and support.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years experience in business analysis or digital platforms, ideally within group insurance or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with development teams to design and implement digital solutions that meet business requirements.
- Strong background in creating and documenting business requirements.
- Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Content Square, JIRA, Figma, and AI-driven platforms.
- Proven success in Agile methodology, with experience participating in Agile ceremonies and providing design leadership in iterative environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in user research, including planning, conducting, and synthesizing insights to shape feature development.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.

Pay Transparency
Salary range: $88,000-$125,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
