Marketing communications professional responsible for development, targeted execution, and creation of marketing strategies and communication plans across a spectrum of products, programs and services in the Group insurance industry (primarily Voluntary Benefit solutions). Candidate responsible for enhancing and developing primarily B2B marketing materials to help grow the business. Drive the development, creation and execution of compelling campaigns in the market through actionable and measurable marketing tactics.


This role requires ability to influence, collaborate with business, sales and other matrix partners, ability to execute on tactics that bring strategy to market, and coordinate with expert partners in delivery – on time and on budget. Results-driven mindset with focus on campaign development, reporting and measurement. To be effective in the role, the candidate must be able to thrive in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous, environment, cutting through the clutter to deliver impactful results.





  • Identify, develop and execute marketing strategies to support successful solution introduction, enhancement and ongoing engagement priorities for key aspects of solutions portfolio.
  • End-to-end campaign and project management from launch to measurement and reporting of business-relevant results.
  • Drive the development and execution of the integrated marketing communication plans and supporting communications that provide compelling reasons for clients, prospects and consultants to expand their relationship with us.
  • Develop strategies to build brand awareness and engagement through creating/curating strong storytelling and finalist materials, thought leadership activities, and other marketing channels
  • Work in close partnership with Creative, Marketing Communications and Corporate Communications partners to deliver on business need.
  • Identify and/or support critical opportunities to communicate to audiences and provide writing, editing/review support to ensure consistency of messaging.
  • Secure final sign-offs from subject matter experts, project owners and compliance/legal team.
  • Measure effectiveness of current communication strategies and tactics and recommend change as needed to properly support the channel and the customers.
  • Understand competitive environment, including emerging solutions, and work to differentiate solutions, as well as identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Demonstrate company values, including teamwork and enterprise view, and drive a high-performance culture
  • Other assignments as necessary to deliver on marketing goals.





  • 7+ years of marketing experience; preferred to be in Group Insurance industry (Primary focus Voluntary Benefits; Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity, as well as Life and Absence products)
  • Ability to take a project from strategy to delivery of tactics in market and within time, budget and quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment across multiple functions
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver, who exercises good judgment in resolving complex situations, prioritizes and can balance needs with enterprise objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, and juggle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and requirements

Salary range: $82,500-$122,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No
