The Senior Sales Operations Lead is a key role within the Distribution Operational Effectiveness organization.  This role is responsible for owning/driving distribution initiatives and participating in division initiatives in representation of the field.  We are seeking a candidate who is motivated by driving change and delivering results in a fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead key initiatives in support of the Distribution organization.  Defines initiatives necessary to deliver on the strategy, achieves buy-in from GBS leadership, secures funding, creates vision, and delivers on commitments.
  • Transforms high-level concepts into feasible business strategies and drive operationalization from end to end.
  • Represent the Distribution organization as a subject matter expert on key division initiatives to ensure the best outcome from a market perspective with an eye toward growth, efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer, client and broker service experience.
  • Ensures alignment of strategy, structure, systems and skills to create and sustain a competitive, high performance organization.
  • Support the rollout of all initiatives modifying market messaging and driving adoption leading to growth and/or persistency.  Responsible for partnering with internal business leads to drive clear alignment of our story in the market, supporting collateral to accomplish, and training of the Distribution organization.
  • Identify existing challenges, gaps, and new opportunities within the Distribution organization; problem solve as needed and incorporate into current and future work as appropriate.
  • Effectively manages and maximizes relationship with key functions / matrix partners that create synergies and new opportunities as well as ensures alignment of priorities and resources with business strategy / goals.
  • Communicate work and updates effectively to leadership and the broader organization in ways that enhance productivity and builds respectful relationships.
  • Understanding of key roles within the distribution organization- Sales Rep, Client Managers, Account Executives, Market Assistants, New Business Specialists, etc. to evaluate impact of change or decision; ongoing education and job shadows needed for relevancy.
