The Client Marketing Senior Associate will serve as a market and client segmentation expert, experienced at leveraging consumer data insights and market intelligence to size opportunities and recommend the targeting strategy and plan for delivering client expansion/retention/advocacy marketing programs that meet or exceed marketing goals. This role identifies and recommends market and customer micro-segments, key triggers, and assesses likely conversion rates based on prior history to inform marketing investment decisions. The Client Marketing Senior Associate must also understand how to work with customer data and play an important role in influencing the marketing data roadmap.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend deployment of highly targeted and effective marketing campaigns in close partnership with senior leadership and campaign managers
  • Define and recommend audience segmentation criteria and coordinate targeting refinement before execution with the client marketing database team and leadership
  • Deliver accurate and on-time campaign data in support of ongoing initiatives
  • Leverage and recommend enhancements to existing client data in innovative ways to provide insight and propel innovations
  • Distill complex questions and reconcile conflicting views to create impactful campaign targets
  • Exercise daily decision-making that will impact campaign strategy, processes, and dates. Possess a high degree of responsibility for resolving a full range of issues related to executing a demanding campaign calendar.
  • Utilize client data to identify areas of opportunity, likely response rates and treatments against targeted populations to generate necessary response to deliver on marketing campaign goals
  • Possess a longitudinal view of marketing campaign management, integrating multiple touchpoints as the client or consumer moves through the touchpoint to maximize engagement and value creation

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, (Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, Economics or similar preferred)
  • 6+ years direct marketing experience with segmentation and targeting strategy applied expertise
  • Experience developing and socializing multi-touch marketing campaigns with both mail and digital components
  • Strong quantitative, strategic, and data visualization skills required
  • Ability to prioritize projects and assignments, and allocate time efficiently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, specifically when relating complex data concepts to strategic business objectives
  • Strong sense of ownership and proactive approach
  • Advanced Excel, Access, and Query applications capabilities
