Role Overview:
The Corporate Vice President, Digital Solution Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and guiding digital technology solutions that enable business objectives while aligning with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and strategic technology direction. This role serves as a recognized subject matter expert and architectural leader for digital capabilities, partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and senior technology leaders to translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and customer-focused technology solutions.
The Digital Solution Architect drives technology decisions that improve customer experience, accelerate innovation, reduce technical risk, and support long-term organizational goals. Through technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration, the role influences architecture strategy, establishes reusable standards and patterns, and ensures solutions are effective today while positioning the organization for future business and technology needs. The role evaluates emerging technologies, including AI-powered capabilities, and recommends adoption strategies that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Design and lead solution architectures for complex digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities, assess technology investments, and translate complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple initiatives and technology domains, guiding architecture reviews, design decisions, implementation approaches, and production readiness activities.
- Establish and promote architecture standards, reusable patterns, governance practices, and best practices that improve consistency, scalability, and maintainability across digital platforms.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks by evaluating scalability, performance, security, integration, operational resilience, and technology lifecycle considerations early in the solution design process.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, including AI-enabled capabilities, generative AI, intelligent automation, and agent-assisted workflows to determine strategic fit and business value.
- Influence digital technology strategy by contributing to architecture roadmaps, technology standards, platform modernization efforts, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders by providing guidance on architecture decisions, technology direction, and solution tradeoffs.
- Lead the development of architectural recommendations that balance customer experience, business outcomes, operational efficiency, and technology sustainability.
- Support compliance and governance practices across the technology portfolio and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and risk management frameworks.
What You'll Bring:
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior software engineering roles.
- Deep knowledge of web application architecture, headless solutions using Next.js, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, enterprise integration patterns, and modern digital ecosystems.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions across multiple technology domains and business functions.
- Experience establishing architecture standards, governance practices, reusable design patterns, and technology roadmaps.
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI technologies, including generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, or AI-powered business solutions.
- Experience with enterprise content management and digital experience platforms, including Sitecore.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technology decisions and communicate architectural concepts to senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Sitecore platforms, including Sitecore XP, Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore AI, and Sitecore Content Hub.
- Experience developing AI-enabled customer experiences, knowledge management solutions, chatbots, copilots, or agentic workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Experience leading architecture governance programs, technology standards initiatives, or enterprise architecture practices.
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and developing strategic recommendations for technology adoption and modernization initiatives.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $133,000-$190,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
