The Database Marketing Manager is a marketing automation visionary who will enable the orchestration of targeted and unified campaigns through deep database segmentation and cross-channel integrations.  This role requires the ability to leverage our campaign ecosystem to develop repeatable, scalable, and highly coordinated campaigns.  The ideal candidate will be a future-thinking data expert who will play a critical role in guiding the data engineering roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership and campaign managers to define audience segmentation criteria and deploy highly targeted and effective marketing campaigns
  • Delivers accurate and on-time campaign data in support of ongoing initiatives
  • Viewed as a technical expert on the Database Marketing team, combines business insight and knowledge of available data with superior campaign execution and technical expertise
  • Leverages and recommends enhancements to existing client data in inventive ways to provide insights and propel innovation
  • Seeks improvements in existing operational and technical processes to refine database marketing programs
  • Ability to distill complex questions and to reconcile conflicting views in order to create impactful campaign targets
  • Communicate complex data concepts to strategic business objectives
  • High degree of responsibility for resolving a full range of issues related to audience segmentation strategy, such as seeking clarification on incomplete data requirements, identifying potential data inaccuracies, and creating new or enhanced queries to satisfy campaign requirements.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree (Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, or similar)
  • 6-8+ years database marketing experience with demonstrated success leading enhancements that enable new campaign strategies
  • Experience using marketing automation platforms like Adobe Marketing Cloud/Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, or similar
  • Strong relational database experience; proficiency in SQL preferred
  • JavaScript experience is a plus
  • Advanced user in Excel, Access, and Query applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong quantitative, strategic, and data visualization skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and assignments and allocate time efficiently
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
