Position Summary:

 

A marketing automation visionary who will enable the orchestration of targeted and unified campaigns through deep database segmentation and cross-channel integrations.  The right candidate will help create an infrastructure that allows for reproducible, scalable, and highly coordinated campaigns.  The Database Marketing Manager will be a future-thinking data expert and will play a critical role in guiding the data engineering roadmap.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Leverages and recommends enhancements to existing client data in inventive ways to provide insight and impel innovations
  • Seeks improvement in existing operational and technical processes to improve the efficiency of database marketing programs
  • Works with senior leadership and campaign managers to define audience segmentation criteria and deploy highly targeted and effective marketing campaigns
  • Delivers accurate and on-time campaign data in support of ongoing initiatives
  • Viewed as a technical expert on the Database Marketing team, combines business insight and knowledge of available data with exceptional campaign execution and technical expertise
  • Ability to distill complex questions and to reconcile conflicting views in order to create impactful campaign targets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, specifically when relating complex data concepts to strategic business objectives
  • Will have a high degree of responsibility for resolving a full range of issues related to audience segmentation strategy

 

Experience:

 

  • 6-8+ years database marketing experience with success leading enhancements that enable new campaign strategies
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to prioritize projects and assignments, and allocate time efficiently
  • Advanced user in Excel, Access, and Query applications
  • Experience using marketing automation platforms like Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, or similar
  • Strong relational database experience; Proficiency in SQL preferred
  • Strong quantitative, strategic, and data visualization skills required
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, or similar) required
