The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream, preferably in cloud environments, and understands end-to-end orchestration across data ingestion, document composition, multichannel delivery, and operational monitoring.
This role focuses primarily on OpenText development. Experience with IBM DataStage, particularly in ETL design or support, is a strong plus and enhances the ability to support upstream integrations and enterprise workflows.
What You’ll Do:
• Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Exstream document composition applications in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support validation and testing related to Command Center migrations and modernization efforts.
• Analyze existing CCM applications and partner with SMEs to assess migration impacts and ensure smooth transitions.
• Develop unit test plans, execute test scripts, and ensure quality and compliance across templates.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable CCM solutions.
• Work with architecture, infrastructure, security, and application teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across document composition, integrations, and orchestration workflows.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code where applicable.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Produce clear technical documentation including design specs and support guides.
What You’ll Bring:
• 7+ years of software development experience, including cloud-based and enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong AWS expertise (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, networking, security).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python preferred) with serverless experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on OpenText Exstream development experience.
• Experience building end-to-end orchestration workflows across upstream and downstream systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and messaging architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, regulated environments.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 6–10 years of CCM experience with deep proficiency in OpenText Exstream, including template design and multi-channel output (print, web, email, SMS, archive).
• Experience developing and documenting form designs and communication templates.
• Strong background in enterprise client/server application development.
• Ability to provide architectural guidance for Exstream implementations.
• Experience working with diverse data sources and structures in CCM workflows.
• IBM DataStage ETL design, job development, or troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
