This position involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

 

 

Support database marketing development on the Customer Marketing team. Understand available customer data and how to apply it to best support the channel manager in developing new sales ideas and business case analyses.

Assist with the annual planning process.  Evaluate opportunities and develop recommendations that leverage knowledge of results-to-date.

Seek improvement in existing operational and technical processes to make the work of the team more automated and efficient.

  • Lead the development and recommendation of complex/nontraditional marketing programs (via Unica) in a timely and accurate manner to drive new sales growth and support the expansion of marketing efforts. Viewed as the technical expert on the Customer Marketing team, combines business insight and knowledge of available data with superior campaign execution and technical expertise.
  • Support the development of new sales ideas and business case analyses based on understanding available customer data sources. Uses data and recommends new sources of data in innovative ways to provide insight and propel innovations.
  • Lead day-to-day and small-moderate scope Systems projects; supports channel manager on larger Systems initiatives.
  • Recommend, develop, and execute system enhancements for improving the operations of database marketing programs. Seek improvement in existing operational and technical processes to make the work of the team more efficient.
  • Manage interactions with support departments as issues with customer marketing campaigns arise. Identifies root causes and develops and recommends strategic solutions to prevent recurrences.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems preferred
  • 3+ years related experience required
  • Proficiency with Excel, Access, and Query Tools
  • Proficiency with campaign management software, with Unica/IBM Campaign experience preferred
  • Knowledge of database structure, queries, and reporting techniques
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, independent and flexible
  • Understands how available customer data can be applied within campaign management technology to further expand support offered to customer marketing programs
  • Proficient at prioritizing projects and assignments
  • Ability to navigate data and apply it in support of making valuable business decisions, to drive growth and innovation in the channel
  • Combine business insight and knowledge of available data with superior campaign execution, and lead the development of complex/nontraditional marketing programs in Unica
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and assume responsibility for campaign deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with their supervisor to recommend more efficient procedures for campaign management & execution and implement them. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.  In managing the campaigns, this position provides information on timelines, deliverables and testing.   Communicates with outside departments, regarding technology projects, database intricacies and complex issue
