The primary purpose of this role is to assist with developing and updating reports and dashboards that will help monitor underwriting data and decisions.


  • Data collection and reporting of Underwriting evidence, application disclosures, and other key metrics.
  • Responsible for creating reports and dashboards; creating and executing recurring and ad hoc reports; analyzing reports to ensure accuracy and high level of value added; optimizes and automates recurring reports. 




  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years' related experience required 
  • Microsoft Excel, SQL.  Knowledge of BI tools is a plus
  • Must have  knowledge of  reporting databases, their primary keys, and the criteria needed to report the correct answers 
  • Needs moderate-strong Microsoft Excel and SQL
  • Working knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing MicroStrategy or other BI tools is a plus
  • Understands analytical, reporting, and modeling best practices, including error checking and data validation approaches
  • Needs to understand customer needs, and translate them into appropriate, informative reports 
  • Must have the ability to investigate complex problems and identify solutions 
  • Must be able to troubleshoot Excel issues (formulas, calculations, look-ups, etc.)
  • Must be able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing, ensuring that senior level management can understand data and trends
  • Must be able to effectively communicate analytical rationale and methodology to peers with different levels of analytical understanding
