Responsible for providing support in areas of case work, reporting, testing, and system needs in GMAD and for our TPAs.  Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports and make recommendations for improvements based on trends. Work with the Account Management team to share results and implement process improvements and workflow adjustments to maximize service experience for customers.  Serve as a back up to the Senior Associate to handle troubleshooting, testing, and setting up the underwriting rules and tables for GMAD's ARES system. This includes testing enhancement upgrades in both the model and production environment, tracking open problem items until a resolution can be accomplished, coordinating with the end user, and external vendor resources.   Maintain high level customer service on high profile accounts, as required of a Senior Service Specialist, to ensure client satisfaction.  Be able to provide coverage across the team for all functions and participate in a variety of service functions and project work to advance the productivity of the team.


•Serve as a backup resource to Senior Associate responsible for managing and setting up the underwriting rules and tables for the ARES system.
•Serve as both back up and point on monthly reporting needs.
•Communicate results and provide suggestions based on findings.
•Assist in creating business reports that provide insight into key data points.
•Provide high level of service and full range of Senior Service Specialist duties, maintaining strong relationships with high profile TPAs and Associations, with ability to provide coverage across the team as necessary.
•Ensure application process follow ups are met via reporting with both internal and external parties and cases are updated accordingly.
•Participate in workflow discussions internally and with customers to find ways to enhance the service experience and improve turnaround time.
•Provide assistance during all systems upgrades, with input into the planning, development of test cases and procedures.
•Assist in Troubleshoot errors, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
•Interact with customers and other Systems department personnel to research and assist in the resolution of system application problems and ensure that the day-to-day operation of business applications that effectively support Medical Underwriting business are available, up and running.


Bachelors Degree required

Statistical or mathematics background and/or IT experience is helpful

Role requires knowledge of excel, prior reporting experience, and the ability to troubleshoot system and workflow related issues and participate in testing as the need arises.
