Supports Group Membership Association Division's (GMAD) Case Accounting & Analysis Unit to collect premiums, record marketing expenses and compensation to our Third Party Administrator's and Policyholders for a block of GMAD's groups.  Responsible for recording  premiums, commissions and service fees and marketing expenses in GMAD's internal systems.  Responsible for monthly sales reporting.  Works to streamline procedures and processes.  Additional responsibilities include annual Sarbanes Oxley certification, system testing and annual census update.



  • Administers the billing and premium receipts for a block of small to medium size accounts.
  • Performs premium and compensation accounting functions including calculating compensation payable to Brokers.
  • Verifies Third Pary Administrator's internal and external marketing expenses.
  • Responsible for reporting and monitoring new business sales.  Researches variances month over month and year over year.
  • Prepares and updates spreadsheets used for Policyholder reporting and dividend calculations.
  • Provides financial information needed for monthly, quarterly and annual statement projections.
  • Works closely with Third Party Administrators to determine and resolve reporting  issues related to premiums, compensation and sales data.
  • Participates in maintaining existing systems including the testing and implementation of system modifications.
  • Works to improve and streamline processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining Financial & Accounting spreadsheet controls.
  • Participates in the annual Sarbanes Oxley certification and control process.
  • Reviews annual census data for Third Party Administrator/Policyholder for accuracy and uploads into our internal Accounting system.
  • Assists in the annual Quality Reviews of Third Party Administrators with supervisory oversight.

  • Proficient in Excel with strong knowledge of V-Lookups & Pivot tables
  • Knowledge of Word and Access
