    • Own development and execution of selected, high profile business analysis projects (e.g., cost/benefit, sales growth, and operational efficiency analyses)

    • Develop and adjust business cases for strategic initiatives.  Partner with finance and other areas to measure initiative impact.
    • Identify and vet new strategic options with emphasis on high impact growth and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Product Development
    • Provide direction on product development and creative solutioning for client needs while balancing the GMAD's long term business needs.
    • Coordinate roll out of selected product and pricing initiatives.  Troubleshoot obstacles and bring appropriate team members to identify solutions.
    • Update and socialize an updated mandate for our 2 product professionals. Balance current responsibilities with unmet product management needs

  • 3+ or more years of working with large/complex datasets and extracting trends and actionable insights.
  • For technical applicants, experience managing or working cross-functional initiatives and creating strong partnerships with stakeholders.  For candidates with strategy backgrounds, experience working with data on a hands-on basis including BI tools, coding, or other technical work.
  • Strong preference for proficiency with business intelligence tools, SQL and other data/analytics tools requiring programming.  Similar depth desired with Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Experience leading a team and developing talent.
  • Excellent analytical and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Working experience with life, disability and/or supplemental health insurance products preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a major in a technical or math oriented subject a plus.  Master’s degree or FSA desirable
