Product Development Senior Associate
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week

Role Overview:
This role supports the Group Membership Association Department’s (GMAD) product portfolio, with a focus on enhancing product capabilities and advancing strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Corporate Vice President of Product Development, the position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to manage cross-functional projects and contribute to new and existing product development.
What you'll do:
• Identify opportunities within target markets to support new product development and portfolio growth.
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives involving actuarial, account management, compliance, legal (OGC), finance, underwriting, marketing, and service teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all GMAD products, supporting both internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
• Develop executive-level presentations and materials to aid in decision-making by project sponsors and senior leadership.
• Manage product lifecycle activities from ideation through implementation, ensuring milestones are met.
• Proactively identify project risks and provide practical solutions to maintain timelines.
• Conduct competitive intelligence research and track trends across relevant markets.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to department processes and outputs.
What you'll bring:
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in group life, disability, or supplemental health insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and innovative thinking.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to influence decisions and build consensus across levels and functions.
• Bachelor’s degree required; technical or quantitative major preferred. A master’s degree or FSA designation is a plus
This position primarily involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
