New York Life Group Membership division is looking for a digital analytics specialist to help oversee the analytics operations and data analysis of our online insurance application portal and other digital assets. The candidate will understand how to interpret and present data from our multi-client analytics platform. This technically skilled professional with solid business acumen will focus on transforming data into clear presentations and explaining the stories behind the data. The position requires a well-rounded set of technical skills (analytics tagging and system troubleshooting) along with competent data analysis, data visualization and presentation skills.   




  • Implement and maintain tagging and data structures across digital assets utilizing data-layers to ensure proper data collection. (Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch)
  • Work closely with developers to ensure analytics code follows best practices and is implemented properly.
  • Support and develop processes and documentation for tagging, testing, QA and reporting. Advise on testing protocols and practices to ensure testing needs are met.
  • Benchmark performance across customer journeys and marketing campaign data to establish and set baselines for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and KPI targets.
  • Report on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends such as conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution to help deliver insights and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop Adhoc reports and dashboards to meet client’s needs.
  • Help develop A/B testing and website template optimization strategy.
  • Help define business and technical requirements and objectives to drive improvements to web traffic, conversion, engagement and retention.
  • Advise and lead data integration efforts with additional systems and modules to support an ongoing roadmap of analytics improvements and marketing functionality (e.g. Adobe AEM, Campaign, Target, Audience Manager, etc.).
  • Manage partnerships with vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SAP Crystal Reports for comparison and/or integration of data from other sources.




  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Adobe DTM/Launch preferred. Google Analytics experience will be considered.  
  • Passion for interpreting and transforming data into meaningful insights and opportunities.
  • Strong data visualization skills. Ability to present complex ideas and concepts.
  • Working knowledge of various business and marketing systems and concepts including CRM, Excel, Email, SQL, SEO, Paid Search, Social and Ad networks.
  • Evangelize best-practice approaches for managing Adobe Analytics.
  • Development skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Data layers (minimal working knowledge is sufficient)
  • Bachelor degree minimum (2-5 yrs) - Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing or an analytical / business discipline
