Role Overview
The Direct Mail Production Management Intern will support the Supplier Management, Estimating and Pricing team within Marketing, gaining hands-on experience with the planning and execution of direct mail production activities. The intern will assist with coordinating production requirements, tracking project schedules and estimates, supporting supplier communications, and maintaining accurate project information. This role offers exposure to the operational processes that help deliver marketing materials efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with campaign objectives.
What You'll Do
- Support direct mail production projects by tracking schedules, specifications, milestones, and deliverables to help ensure work progresses according to established timelines.
- Assist with gathering and organizing project specifications, content inventory, version analysis and supplier instructions to support informed production decisions.
- Coordinate with internal partners and external suppliers to communicate project requirements, follow up on outstanding items, and help resolve routine production questions.
- Review and maintain project information, reports, and documentation to support accurate recordkeeping, production visibility, and continuous improvement of team processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing colleagues and production partners to learn how direct mail campaigns move from planning through production and delivery while contributing to day-to-day team priorities.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, or equivalent education and experience, with an interest in marketing, business, communications, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and project information.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with estimates, pricing, schedules, and operational data.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, or the ability to quickly learn similar applications.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and suppliers.
Preferred Skills
- Previous internship, coursework, or project experience related to marketing operations, print production, direct mail, procurement, supplier management, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, reporting, data tracking, or basic cost and pricing analysis. Knowledge of Adobe Workfront a plus.
- Interest in learning about print and mail production processes, supplier relationships, and marketing campaign execution.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $25/hr
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
